What happens after you connect an agent
Where the agent shows up, how requests reach it, and which accounts it can read.
- Ask Sprout "how are my agents?" and the new agent is in the list.
- When you ask Sprout for something an agent can do, Sprout hands it over and tells you.
- The result comes back in your chat, in Sprout's words.
- If the agent needs something from you, Sprout asks you in chat.
Which accounts each one reads:
- Your own agent reads the accounts you have connected inside that agent, such as Gmail in Claude's connectors. Sprout does not hold those sign-ins. Each agent's page says where to connect them.
- Sprout's own worker reads what you connected in Sprout. In the Sprout app, open Profile → Integrations → Google Calendar. For a school portal, Sprout gives you a link to a page where you sign in yourself.
When a request needs an account that nothing reaches, Sprout tells you which account and where to connect it.
